Stadler Form Albert is a 20-litre-per-day dehumidifier for rooms up to 70 m² (175 m³) and, at 33–44 dB(A), the quietest dehumidifier in the Stadler Form range – which is why it is one of our best-selling models in the UAE for bedrooms, nurseries, studies and apartments. In night mode Albert runs at its lowest level, from 33 dB(A), low enough to run beside a bed; it is a compressor unit, so it is quiet rather than silent, but it is designed for occupied rooms. On Amazon.ae, Albert carried the Amazon’s Choice badge for dehumidifiers in July 2026.

Albert is deliberately straightforward. Set the target humidity on the integrated hygrostat – 50–55 % relative humidity suits most UAE homes, and keeping a room below about 60 % makes conditions less favourable for mould and condensation – and Albert switches off when it is reached and back on when humidity rises. A digital 24-hour timer and a swing air outlet that spreads the dry air across the room cover the rest, and settings are kept for 24 hours after a power cut, so a timer programme survives a brief outage. Water collects in the 4.6-litre tank with carrying handle and automatic switch-off, or you fit the included hose to a floor drain or balcony outlet for continuous drainage – the usual set-up in a coastal villa or a ground-floor room where humidity climbs through the summer. Measure first with a hygrometer: air conditioning can remove moisture as part of cooling but may not maintain the desired indoor relative humidity under every operating condition.

How do I connect Albert’s drainage hose?

Remove the water tank for easier access, push the included hose onto the drain connection on the back of Albert, then put the tank back. Route the other end to a floor drain, bathroom outlet or balcony drain, keeping the outflow end lower than the connection so the water runs off by gravity and avoiding kinks. With the hose fitted Albert runs unattended; without it, the 4.6-litre tank stops the unit automatically when full.

Will my settings be saved if there is a power failure?

Yes. Albert keeps its settings for 24 hours and switches itself back on after a power failure, so a hygrostat target or timer programme survives a brief outage. This is also what makes Albert suitable for timer operation.

Albert is leaking water – what should I check?

After long use, or in a dusty room, the internal water outlet can become blocked so that condensate no longer flows into the tank and escapes underneath the unit, leaving small pools on the floor. Switch Albert off, check that the tank is seated correctly and that the hose (if fitted) is not kinked or running uphill, then clean the water outlet as described in the instruction manual. If the problem persists, contact Stadler Form UAE and our engineers will inspect the unit.

Why is Albert showing defrost mode when the room is warmer than 10 °C?

Defrost mode should only appear in cool rooms, when the cooling coil ices up and Albert pauses to clear it. In an air-conditioned UAE room at 18–24 °C it should not stay on. If it does, the sensor is likely at fault: contact Stadler Form UAE (+971 4 343 5501 or orders@stadlerform.ae) – our Dubai service centre handles warranty inspections locally, so you do not need to return the unit to the retailer or abroad.

Is Albert quiet enough for a bedroom?

Yes – this is what Albert is chosen for. It runs at 33–44 dB(A), and in night mode from 33 dB(A), the lowest of any Stadler Form dehumidifier. Like every compressor dehumidifier it is not completely silent, but at night-mode level it is quieter than a typical split air-conditioning unit. Place it a metre or so from the bed with the swing outlet open and set the hygrostat; it will cycle off once the target is reached.

Is Albert the best dehumidifier for a bedroom or apartment in Dubai?

Does Albert purify the air as well?

No. Albert is a dedicated dehumidifier and has no filter slot. If you want dehumidification and HEPA air purification in one unit, Lukas Pro includes a HEPA H11 filter, and Lukas can take one as an option.

How big is Albert’s water tank, and how often will I empty it?

The tank holds 4.6 litres. In a humid August in Dubai a 20-litre unit can fill it in well under a day, so for continuous summer use most owners connect the included hose to a drain instead. The tank has a carrying handle and Albert stops automatically when it is full.

What warranty and service do I get in the UAE?

Albert carries a 2-year warranty. Stadler Form UAE (PRO TECHnology, 204 Aswar Building, Business Bay, Dubai) is the official distributor with its own service centre and engineers, so repairs, spare parts and follow-up service are handled locally. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or its service agent, or a qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
Stadler Form refuses all liability for loss or damage that arises as a result of failure to follow these operating instructions.
The appliance is only to be used in the home for the purposes described in these instructions. Unauthorised use and technical modifications to the appliance can lead to danger to life and health.
Prior to any maintenance, cleaning and after each use, switch off the appliance and unplug the mains cable from the socket.

Do not store the appliance outdoors.
Always transport the dehumidifier in an upright position. Before using the dehumidifier for the first time, leave it standing in an upright position for 24 hours. Always stand the dehumidifier in an upright position immediately after transporting the appliance and wait for at least 60minutes before switching it back on. The water tank must be emptied every time before transport.
Place the dehumidifier on a firm, even, waterproof surface. Make sure it is standing securely so that the dehumidifier cannot tip over or fall down. If it tipped over, please pull out the plug at once. Water can damage furniture and floor coverings.
Unwind the cord completely. An incompletely unwound cord can lead to overheating and cause a fire.
Do not immerse the dehumidifier into water or any other liquids and do not pour water or any other liquids onto the appliance or into the air intake and air outflow vents.
Do not use the appliance in immediate vicinity of a bath tub, a shower or a swimming pool (observe a minimum distance of 3m). Place the appliance such that a person in the bath tub cannot touch the appliance.
Do not place the appliance near a heat source. Do not subject the power cord to direct heat (such as a heated hotplate, open flames, hot iron sole plates or heaters for example). Protect power cords from oil.
Do not use the dehumidifier if it is faulty or could show signs of damage, or if it is not functioning correctly. Disconnect the plug from the power socket.
Never insert your fingers or any other objects into the air inlet or outlet. Do not cover the appliance during operation.
Do not sit or stand on the appliance.
Discard of the water in the water tank when the tank is full.
Do not operate the appliance in a closed area such as inside a closet, as it may cause a fire.
Warning: the appliance shall be installed, operated and stored in a room with a floor area not less than the minimum room area stated in the instruction manual for your model (4 m² for Lukas, Lukas Titanium and Lukas Smart; 7.2 m² for Lukas Pro).
When operating to dry clothes keep the clothing at least 50 cm away from the unit and do not allow water to drip onto the unit.
If using the appliance with the drainage hose, make sure the end of the hose is lower than the spout, otherwise the water will not drain and flooding may occur.
If any parts of the appliance are damaged, please contact the retailer or a designated repair shop.

The dehumidifier functions optimally at a room temperature of between 13 °C and 35 °C. The specified dehumidifying performance is only achievable in the higher temperature range (from 22 °C) and with higher room humidity (from 70%). The lowest recommended operating temperature is 5 °C. In case of lower temperatures, the DEFROST mode is activated too frequently. The highest operating temperature is 35 °C and the relative humidity is 80%.
